Ingredients
Neem Oil (azadirachta indica) is an excellent, gentle moisturizer rich in emollients, fatty acids and vitamin E. IIt protects and alleviates against chapping, cracking and roughness due to dryness. Neem oil can restore the skin’s natural elasticity by toning and firming the skin.
Beeswax (natural, unrefined) is used in the in a salve specifically to solidify the oil. It has the added benefits of soothing the skin and helps the skin to retain moisture.
Shea Butter (butrosperum parkii) is nature’s wonder coming from Africa’s shea-karite tree. It has a high content of irremovable fatty acid, which gives Shea Butter its unique properties, making it superior to other butters. We use the unrefined, natural and organically grown shea, making a nutritiously delicious addition to our salve.
Lavender (lavendula augustofolia) (organic) has a sweet, crisp scent. Lavender has a long history of cosmetic use. The name comes from the Latin ‘lavare’ which means ‘to wash’. It has a relaxing and calming effect.
Calendula (calendula officinalis) derived from the dried flowers of golden marigolds. It soothes and refreshes itchy and chapped skin.
Vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol). This full spectrum tocopheral is a natural preservative that helps sustain shelf life of products. It plays a crucial role in protecting skin cells and membranes from environmental damage.
Olive Oil (Olea Europaea) is desirable in a baby salve as it is an excellent moisturizer. It attracts external moisture and holds it to the skin, helping to prevent loss of internal moisture.
Testimonials
"I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and best wishes to you and yours for the New Year. It was great to see you guys in Halifax again this year. I must report that I gave the baby product kit to a friend of mine for Christmas. She has a year and a half old who had had a red bum for more than a month. Not a total rash but clearly irritated. Well in two nights of using the neem cream the redness is gone and everyone is happier. Keep up the good work and you've got another faithful client - well until she's toilet trained. Thanks for keeping the faith with such green and helpful products." - Sandra M.
"I can't believe how gentle and soothing the Neem Salve is on my Jordon's diaper rash. Thank you." - Vancouver, BC
"It is not easy to find products that I am willing to use on my new baby's delicate skin. ETB's neem salve is pure and perfect!. Thank you." - Halifax, N.S.
"I first learned of Earth to Body at the Marshville Heritage Festival and I was open to the idea of a pure all natural product but I'll be honest I was a bit sceptical. Whenever my son would get a bum rash he would scream and cry when I would apply a medicated cream. I couldn't believe it when I applied the baby salve,... honestly it looked like he liked it!!! When the rash was gone the next day I was SOLD! I love the baby products, soaps, and skin management care. Thank you for providing such a great product!"
