Ingredients
Avocado Oil (persea gratissima) contains protein, amino acids, and high levels of vitamins such as vitamins A, D, and E, giving our soap extra skin nourishment. It is easily absorbed by the skin, ideal for dry, dehydrated and mature skin. Avocado oil also helps to relieve the dryness and itching of psoriasis and eczema.
Castor Oil (ricinus communis) is soothing and lubricating as it is quickly absorbed by the body. A natural humectant, castor oil attracts and holds moisture to the skin. It helps to harden the soap.
Palm Oil (elaeis guineensis) increases the hardness and smooth creamy bubbles in soap.
Olive Oil (olea europaea) is rich and non-drying. is desirable in soap as it is an excellent moisturizer. It attracts external moisture and holds it to the skin, helping to prevent loss of internal moisture
Coconut Oil (cocos nucifera) adds additional moisturizing properties to soap and helps to harden soap. It is THE most important ingredient for rich full, fluffy lather even in cold or salt water. Coconut oil moisturizes, conditions and protects the skin.
Cocoa butter (theobroma cacoa) is a wax obtained from the roasted cocoa bean (Theobroma). Its light creamy consistency has emollient qualities and absorbs quickly into the skin.
Shea Butter (butyrosperum parkii) is from the wild shea trees of Africa. It is organically grown and fair trade. It is known for its cosmetic properties as a moisturizer and emollient. It can lessen dry skin irritations aggravated by acne, eczema and psoriasis and has a skin softening effect, making it most desirable in soap.
Neem Oil (azadirachtin indica) is an excellent addition to soap. Its antibacterial properties deep cleanse the skin, remove viruses, funguses, bacteria, and parasites from the skin, thus removing germs. Neem readily saponifies, making it ideal as a carbolic soap to kill bacteria. It tones and nourishes dry skin, keeping the skin toned and healthy.
Emu Oil is one of the most extraordinary additions to any soap. Like neem oil, it has the antibacterial and antimicrobial skin cleaning properties in the soap. It assists in anti-aging and anti-wrinkling by reducing the appearance of wrinkles. It does NOT clog pores and helps to moisturize and hydrate the skin.
Oatmeal (avena sativa) is a gentle exfolliant, especially for sensitive skin. It won’t tear or hurt the skin. This multi-purpose skin care aid helps to relieve dryness, restore natural moisture balance, thus soothing minor skin irritations due to dryness. The natural properties in our ORGANIC oatmeal improve the look of the skin.
Sweet Orange (citrus aurantium) The acid content in the sweet orange essential oil gently dissolves grease and dirt buildup. It is beneficial and soothing to dry irritated skin. Regenerative properties make it good for aging or rough skin.
Sandalwood (santalum album) essential oil has a rich, woody, earthy scent that many feel contain aphrodisiac qualities. Sandalwood has calming and soothing effects. For all those dedicated to having beautiful skin this is one of the most useful oils and is a classic choice for dry skin irritations, itching, redness, and sensitivity.
Patchouli (pogostemon cablin) is a powerful, pungent essential oil, mossy and musty, earthy and exotic. Patchouli cools and calms inflamed, dry, cracked skin and sunburn and helps soothe dry acne irritations, keeping the skin clear and fresh.
Lemonseed Extract (citrus medica limonum) is a bio-citrus extract used as our natural preservative controlling bacteria and fungi.
