Ingredients
Dead Sea Salt (sodium chloride) At 394 meters below sea level, the Dead Sea is the most saline rich natural body of water in the world. Rich in minerals, (calcium, sodium, bromine, potassium, magnesium) the Salts found along the shore are unique in character and famous for their soothing and cleansing properties.
Apricot Oil (prunus armeniaca) is a light textured oil that protects, moisturizes, nourishes & softens the skin. High in oleic, linoleic acids and rich in vitamins A & B, this oil is ideal for mature, sensitive skin that is dry or itchy. Popular because it is readily absorbed and does not leave a film, this oil makes the skin soft, promotes cell renewal and firms the tissue. Does NOT clog pores.
Manitou Salts (sodium chloride) come from Little Manitou Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada. The unique mineral concentration are famous for their soothing effects on the skin and body. The Manitou salts have additional quantities of magnesium and iron oxide accentuating its impressive cleansing powers. Salts exfoliate, cleanse and soothe the skin.
Argan Oil (argania spinosa) (organic, fair trade) with its high Vitamin E content and fatty acids is an excellent form of nutrition for the skin. Ideal for chapped, or sun damaged skin, but also excellent on sensitive skin. It moisturizes, and works wonderfully on smoothing wrinkles and adding to a vibrant, healthy appearance.
Manuka Oil (Leptospermum Scoparium) (organic) Manuka is a plant indigenous to New Zealand. With the addition of this East Cape Manuka oil to the scrub, this cleanser has antibacterial and antimicrobial cleansing properties.
Chia Seeds (salvia hispanica seed extract) (organic, Fair Trade) are grown in the nutritious soils of the Amazon Basin in Peru and are packed with naturally occurring vitamins, minerals, and are rich in Omega 3 fatty acids. They are gluten free with no reported allergic reactions. Chia seeds make an excellent exfolliant for the skin
Lavender (lavendula augustofolia) has a sweet, crisp scent. Lavender has a long history of cosmetic use. The name comes from the Latin ‘lavare’ which means ‘to wash’ which makes it a natural skin cleanser. It has a relaxing and calming effect.
Sweet Orange (citrus aurantium dulcis) acid content gently dissolves grease and dirt buildup. It is beneficial and soothing to the skin.
Lemon (citrus medica limonum) contains enzymes, which help to cleanse the skin of dead cells. Lemon is a natural astringent, uplifting and cooling
Lemonseed Extract (citrus medica limonum) is a bio-citrus extract controlling skin bacteria and fungi used as our natural preservative.
