Ingredients
Avocado Oil (persea gratissima) contains proteins, amino acids, and high levels of vitamins such as vitamins A, D, and E. It moisturizers, soothes and helps to rejuvenate the skin.
Castor Oil (ricinus communis) Castor oil is often used to attract and hold moisture in the skin. Helps to harden soap bar.
Palm Oil (elaeis guineensis) increases the hardness and smooth creamy bubbles in soap.
Olive Oil (olea europaea) is desirable in soap as it is an excellent moisturizer. It attracts external moisture and holds it to the skin, helping to prevent loss of internal moisture.
Coconut Oil (cocos nuciferia) adds additional moisturizing and conditioning properties and helps to harden soap. It is THE most important ingredient for a full, rich lather in cold or salt water.
Cocoa butter (theobroma cacao) comes from the seed of the Cacao Tree. It is used as an emulsifier in bath and body essentials. It protects the skin and locks in moisture.
Shea Butter (butyrosperum parkii) is from the wild shea trees of Africa. It is known for its cosmetic properties as a moisturizer and emollient. It can lessen dry skin irritations aggravated by acne, eczema and psoriasis and has a skin softening effect, making it most desirable in soap.
Neem Oil (azadirachta indica) is an excellent addition to soap. Its antibacterial properties deep cleanse the skin; remove viruses, funguses, bacteria, and parasites from the skin, thus removing germs. Neem readily saponifies, making it ideal in a soap to help kill odour- causing bacteria. It tones and nourishes dry skin, keeping the skin healthy.
Oatmeal (avena sativa) (organic) is made up of cellulose and fiber. Itmoisturizes, softens, and soothes even the most sensitive skin types. The exfoliant in oatmeal releases debris and dead skin.
Nori Seaweed (porphyra) Seaweed contains minerals and trace elements that are very protective and soothing to inflamed or irritated skin. It is a natural antibiotic,high in proteins, iron and phosphorus, vitamins and minerals.
White grapefruit oil (citrus grandis) has a sharp, refreshing smell and is high in Vitamin C. It helps to clear greasy, congested and acne prone skin, cleansing and toning the skin and tissues.
Palmerosa oil (cymbopogon martinii) has a soft, lemony-fresh green scent with hints of geranium and rose. It is very soothing and balancing, with both cooling and uplifting properties. Palmarosa is helpful for dry, undernourished skin conditions, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and improving the appearance of all skin types. Its ability to tonify gives it a superb hydrating property and contributes greatly to the antibacterial and antimicrobial properties of our Nori Plus soap.
Sweet Orange (citrus aurantium) The acid content in the sweet orange essential oil gently dissolves grease and dirt buildup. It is beneficial and soothing to dry irritated skin. Regenerative properties make it good for aging or rough skin.
Chlorophyll is a green pigment (magnesium) found in most plants. It is non-irritating, soothing to the skin, and totally non-toxic. Chlorophyll has an antibacterial cleansing action and is known to remove unpleasant body odors.
Lavender (lavendula augustofolia) has a sweet, crisp scent. Lavender has a long history of cosmetic use. The name comes from the Latin ‘lavare’ which means ‘to wash’. It has a relaxing and calming effect.
Calendula (calendula officinalis) derived from the dried flowers of golden marigolds, soothes chapped, dry skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles by firming and toning the skin, restoring the skin’s natural beauty. Adding calendula to our soap makes it a superb cleanser for delicate skin.
Lemonseed Extract (citrus medica limonum) is a bio-citrus extract used as our natural preservative.
