Shampoo Bars…Ya gotta love ‘em
It’s a love affair for most. Our shampoo bar and your hair! If you have never tried it, you should.
Our bars are cold processed soaps chock full of natural oils. (We do not make glycerin based soaps as they have less lather and are less clarifying.)The most important factor is that our bars contain all natural ingredients. The bar lathers nicely, unlike natural liquid shampoos. You can save it just for the hair, or use all over the body, face included. Your skin will love you.Travel is made easy. No spillage. It is a perfect…
Where does our Shea Butter come from? We can show you!
We at Earth to Body are fortunate enough to have friends of the family who work with the Fédération NUNUNA. Our friends have personally met these hard working women of Burkina Faso, where this miraculous gift comes from. We asked them to take some photos and write a description of this organically grown and fair trade product. We hope this allows you to feel a closer connection to the Shea Butter we use and to the hard-working women who yield it.
“Our shea butter is imported from the Fédération NUNUNA, a Union shea butter producer groups…
Question the koala about eucalyptus. Watch her grin. “Hey mate, I sleep in the tree all day long, curled up in my branch nook. I hang out for a few hours at night, feasting on the leaves. I am all about Eucalyptus."
Ask the koala if the leaves make her feel good and she will assure you that she is not ‘high’ as many believe her to be. "Yes, a little sleepy maybe." The leaves contain cineole*, toxic to some animals, but not the koala.
Koala means ‘no water’. They thirst quench from the leaves themselves making it a rather interesting and…

Light a candle. Relax and watch as the melted pool of deliciously nutritious wax forms. Carefully dip into the pool of melted oil and massage onto the skin. (You can blow out the candle or carefully dip beneath it. Soy wax is NOT hot. It will not burn you so no worries as you dip.)
Choose from a variety of intoxicating natural scents, or no scent at all. Our 'scents' are natural…

My boys are eight and ten. About the age of the boys in the stock photo, but mine would be wearing helmets....Obviously.
They are rough and tumble. They are energetic and spirited. And sometimes borderline CRAZY.
Especially my youngest, who inevitably tries to keep up with his older brother, all of his older brother's friends, and the older neighborhood boys.
To a mother's dismay, they sometimes get hurt! They sometimes come home with road rash and scrapes and…
It just never stops.
Tamanu is a ‘drift seed’ like a coconut. Their shells, imperious to the sea waters, can float for months, even years, at sea. This miracal nut travels the ocean waves, and if nature so chooses, it takes root on the coastal sands of the south pacific islands, maturing into the famed tamanu tree. This tree also grows on the mainlands and coasts of South Asia.
The oil is successfully stored at room temperature.Tamanu oil should be a rich, dark green colour. Not black. A black oil may indicate that the tamanu has been mixed or thrown in a…
Nature not only provides beauty, but also goodness. The nutrients from fruit, nuts, flowers, leaves, bark and roots can sustain life. While oranges may conjure up an association with Vitamin C, as do apples, papaya, kale and tomatoes, we should also remember that this renowned water soluble vitamin is found in in many other plant sources.
This amazing vitamin ( aka ascorbic acid) is not only excellent to ingest, but is also an important nourishment for the skin. It shields the skin from damaging free radicals.**
Many environmental factors can cause damage to our skin:…
