organic apple cider vinegar cures scalp and skin ailments

Wear an apple.  Don't just eat it.

'Eat an apple on going to bed, and you’ll keep the doctor from earning his bread'.   Many of us know the version of this original Pembrokeshire (a county southwest Wales) proverb as ‘an apple a day keeps the doctor away’.  An apple is truly a fruit to be respected.  But it is not only for consumption.  In natural skin care, ‘wearing’ an apple is wise. Treat your skin to the juice and or pulp of an organic apple.

An Earth to Body testimonial on an apple: “I love your emu neem soap.  I moisturize with emu oil and use the toner.  But when I started washing and rinsing my hair AND FACE with your apple cider vinegar blend, I have naught to see a pimple!  My skin is baby soft and clean and oh so CLEAR!”

Our ‘apple delight’ is our organic Apple Cider Vinegar hair rinse product. It is a nutrient source of biotin and procyanidin B-2 for stimulating hair growth, preventing hair loss, dandruff and promoting healthier hair. Along with the rosemary, parsley and sage is it a nutritious treat for hair, scalp and skin. We recommend it once or twice a week.
Of course, you make your own apple treats.

Skin Manage This Miracle Fruit

Use juice, apple puree or grated apple for any of the following 'Apple Aids to the Skin'. Make your own apple juice, puree or grated apple.  If this is not an option for juice, fresh juice can be purchased from a local farmer or health food store, unprocessed.  (Commercial processed apple juice, unfortunately, should not to be considered as a substitute. Your skin deserves the real thing that conserves the nutrients.)

Juice and Puree: Buy a bag of organic apples. Wash and core them.  Slice the apples with the peel on.
In a pot, add just enough water to cover the apples. Boil until soft 20-25 minutes.
Using a fine mesh strainer with cheesecloth or even a coffee filter, scoop out the softened apples and gently mash, filtering the juice into a bowl.  Throw nothing out.

Add a little cinnamon to the puree for an added treat. Cinnamon on the skin helps keep the skin clear (pimples, acne, blemishes etc.) and nourishes the hair, making it stronger and healthier. Your skin can enjoy a facial mask as this good apple food has great anti-aging benefits, cleanses and eliminates fine lines and wrinkles. Leave on about 10-15 minutes and rinse off.

Too Much Sun?

Grated apple or puree mixed with tamanu, emu or argan oil is a wonderful soother after too much sun and will help prevent peeling.

Dark Circles Around The Eyes?

A couple of apple slices, apple juice or apple puree will help to reduce dark circles around the eyes. Or, soak a cotton ball with a little of our apple cider vinegar blend and dab under the eyes.  Allow it to dry naturally. Do not let the ACV enter the eye. Any homemade concoction will not have the commercial chemical preservatives so it should be refrigerated and consumed within the week, or less. Making your own natural skin nutrition is not new. Humans have been doing so for centuries. We are encouraging the concept. But, as this is not always possible, we do make natural skin care for you.
